A LITTLE ABOUT ME:

LINDSEY BROOKES

I'm one of those who fell in love with romance even before I knew what it really was.  I read my first romance novel when I was fourteen-years-old.  You know, back when you're young and curious and speed read to get to all the juicy parts. 

Thankfully, I've learned to appreciate the stories and how much hard work goes into writing a book so good that it draws the reader right in.  I hope to be able to do the same with my writing.

Being a member of Romance Writers of America has not only given me the opportunity to learn about the craft, but allows me to stay informed in regards to the publishing industry.  Through RWA I've made some really wonderful, and somewhat crazy, friends that I wouldn't trade for the world. 

I write full time, both adult and young adult fiction, and love nothing more than to make a reader smile.   With the guidance of my incredibly supportive agent,  Susan Schulman, I look forward to sharing my stories with readers everywhere  someday very soon.
